Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Rebecca Sichon (pronounced SEA-shon) delivers a compelling fusion of R&B, soul, and jazz, led by a voice known for its depth, control, and emotional honesty. Inspired by artists like Yebba and Amy Winehouse, her music explores vulnerability, empathy, and the human experience with intention and warmth.

Her release, “Nothing” (February 2026), is a soulful, contemporary Jazz reflection on empathy, privilege, and human connection. Written in 2022, the song was inspired by a moment that stayed with her long after it passed: driving by a man asking for change and realizing she had nothing to give but a smile. The experience sparked a deeper questioning of morality and responsibility. “I wrote this song from a place of guilt, sadness, and compassion,” Sichon shares. “It’s a reminder to stay human and never become numb.”

A dynamic live performer, Sichon has played over 250 stages across Canada and the U.S., including Winnipeg Folk Festival and Salmon Arm Roots & Blues, and has performed at 34 Sofar Sounds shows worldwide. Her work has been featured on CBC Radio stations across Canada, Apple Music’s Soul Revival playlist, and Pandora’s Rhythm and Brew.
